What started plainly as an exploratory journey of modest elegance in black and white amongst artists…the contradictory proliferations of light and shadow; quickly evolved into a surgical sculpting from a monolith of brilliant light, an alluring curving obsidian obelisk of collective revelry.

Formed in studio by two strobe lights and one silver reflector, this simplistic yet sophisticated silhouette was auspiciously coupled with the contrast of the deep satiny specular skin and an overexposed oversized soft box.

The white and wispy delicately dangly detail of the earring draws your appreciation to the subjects’ slender serpentine neck; slithering up and around and into an unpretentiously lovely profile coolly wearing a soft slightly curious and longing expression like a comforting shawl across the shoulders. Upon viewing, a deliberately calming tone amid the observer and observed has been established. The subjects’ assuredly smooth texture silently invites one to gratify the tactile inner impulse to feel the Poise in Bloom.
